Our Team

Veronica Kariuki – President
Ms Kariuki is one of the Founders and the President of the Kenya France Business club. After leaving her native Kenya to France to study the French language, she obtained a diploma in applied foreign languages (LEA) and later a Diplome Approfondi de Langues française (DALF), from the University of Paul Valèry in Montpellier.
Ms. Kariuki holds a Master’s Degree in International Tourism focused on Communication, Cultural management and Public Relations and has a vast experience in sourcing for sponsors and organizing awareness and fund-raising programmes.
Miss Kariuki has been actively involved in the promotion of various Kenyan cultural, social and economic activities in France.


Enock Maiyo – Vice President
Before moving to Paris, Enock lived in the Netherlands where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in International Communications and Management from the university of Inholland in Amsterdam. He specialises in corporate communication training and has worked with the academy of Paris, private corporate clients, UN communications division during COP21, among others.
It is during his student life that Enock began working with associations. He started as a youth coordinator for Diaspora Forum for Development, a diaspora umbrella association based in the Netherlands. Upon graduating, he went on a field mission to Uganda as a project coordinator for one of the associations involved in providing disaster relief and food security in Eastern Uganda. Enock Maiyo is KFBC Vice President and a Kenyan entrepreneur based in Paris, France.
Apart from volunteer work, Enock is an avid reader.

Peter Gitau – Treasurer 
Peter is an Msc Candidate in Finance studying at the Department Economics at Sciences Po University in Paris. He is also currently preparing for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level I certification .
Peter moved to France in 2012 to pursue his studies in Economics. He spent a year abroad at Trinity College Dublin’s (Ireland) Department of Economics, as part of a university exchange program.
Peter’s work experience includes research on financial inclusion policy, acquired at FSD (Financial Sector Deepening) Kenya, an independent trustee under KPMG Kenya’s supervision funded by DFID and Bill Melinda Gates Foundation. In addition, Peter has worked for the international consulting and audit firm PwC Paris – banking department, as well as the French management consulting firm Wavestone (within its Energy, Utilities and Transport Practice).
Peter brings his expertise in finance and consulting to KFBC and works to implement best practices in budget allocation and project development

Caroline Wanjiku – Business Developer
Ms. Wanjiku is a Business English Facilitator and Business Developer for English as a second language professionals. She started her career teaching in French blue-chip firms such as Epson, Orangina Schwepes, and Lafarge. Today she focuses on English for hospitality business and IT professionals, with an emphasis on empowering and sharing knowledge for job hunting purposes as well as professional, personal and business development.
In the early 1990’s she came to France to pursue her studies and acquire new language and cultural skills. She obtained a Business French diploma from Paris Chamber of Commerce and Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences and Economics from Institute Catholique de Paris. Additionally, she trained to be an English as a second language facilitator from Rutgers University (USA)
Passionate about EdTech she does Mooc classes on Coursera and Khan academy while participating in conferences in Paris organised by EdTech pioneers such as Open class room. She envisions to build her own online platform to promote EdTech globally for soft skills learning.

Sheila Kandie – Communications Coordinator
Sheila holds a B.A in Communications and Sociology as well as a professional diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).
She is experienced in public relations, marketing and training. She has worked in both private and public sectors in France and Kenya. She currently works with a capacity building firm as a facilitator and consultant.
In her free time, she is an avid reader, enjoys running and travelling.

John Kimani – Marketing & Networking Officer
John holds a Diploma in Community Development majoring in Relief and Rehabilitation from CEFORED institute and has numerous Certificates and Awards from many NGO’s.
He is one of the founders of Focus Youth Initiative in Thika. He has worked with Pathfinder International and Population Services International (PSI), Younglife International in dealing with teenagers. He served as the National Chairman of Kenya Young Christian Workers Movement and represented his country in the 7th international Council held in Paris in 2008.
He currently works as an Information and Sales Officer at the tourist company Big Bus Tours Paris. He runs a private marketing and advertising company and is currently the Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Agent in France.
John has been vocal in many Kenyan diaspora initiatives in France such as cultural,social and business Forums. His hobbies are traveling, socialising and serving the Community.

Rose Nyambura – Sales, Marketing & Business Development
Rose is a sales, marketing & business development consultant.
She obtained a degree in Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA in Marketing & Management) at Paris Business School, Master of Marketing and Customer Relationship at INSEEC business School, Masters of Business Administration (MBA in Marketing and Communications) at ISC Business School.
Miss Nyambura is the founder of Rosen Consultants firm based in France. She offers personalized Sales, Marketing and Business Development services to international companies that are looking to develop their businesses in Europe and Africa.
Passionate about fashion, she promotes, markets and develop fashion brands that have ethical and innovative values in Europe and Africa. Miss Nyambura is also passionate about travelling and discovering other cultures and languages.

Pauline Kariuki – Events Coordinator
Pauline is a hotel supervisor at a renown groupofhotels in Paris.
She holds a wealth of experience in the hospitality sector. She has management, communication and negotiation skills. She is also experienced in quality improvement and service delivery.
She loves spending time with family and friends
